WASCO, CA. – Kern County Sheriff’s Homicide is investigating a shooting death that occurred on Monday, October 28, 2019.
At around 1:50 a.m. deputies in Wasco were dispatched to the south alley of the 800 block of Highway 46 for gunshots heard in the area. When deputies arrived at the location they located a Hispanic man suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
