MORENO VALLEY, Ca. – Authorities in Moreno Valley are in search of an armed and dangerous murder suspect.
On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at around 7:13 p.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a call reporting an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies responded to the 24000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard in the City of Moreno Valley.
When they arrived they located a man, now identified as James Black, 42, of Lake Elsinore, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was rushed to the hospital by emergency medical responders and died as a result of his injuries. Homicide detectives responded to the scene of the shooting to assume the investigation. Through investigation, the suspect has been identified as Chad James Green, 41, of Riverside. An arrest warrant has been obtained for the arrest Green.
This is an active investigation and no additional details are currently available.
