RANCHO CUCAMONGA – Authorities are asking the public for help to locate a missing 12-year-old girl missing since Sunday night. The family said that they saw Brooklyn Layton at their home in the 11400 block of Lomello Way in the City of Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday at 9:30 p.m. At around 2:00 a.m. they went to check on her and she was gone.
Brooklyn’s parents believe that she left on her own, but being that she is only 12-years-old, she is considered a critical-missing person authorities said. Brooklyn is described as a Caucasian female, 5’4” tall, around 100 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing a green long-sleeved shirt, grey sweatpants, and unknown shoes. She has no known medical problems.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Brooklyn is urged to immediately contact the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department at 477-2800 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (909) 941-1488.
