HESPERIA, Ca. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to locate a 16-year-old Chinese student who was last seen at the home of her host family in the City of Hesperia on Friday.
Yuping Guo traveled to the United States for a 4 day visit, where they planned to spend two days in the High Desert and two days in the Los Angeles area. They arrived in the United States on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Guo went to spend her time with her host family in the City of Hesperia. It is believed the Guo left the home on her own during the early-morning hours, between 1:30-5:00 a.m. on her own on Friday, January 17th.
Guo speaks Chinese Mandarin, but speaks limited English. She is described as being outgoing and approachable. She left the home with her cellphone and passport but left her luggage bag behind. Guo is 5’4″, 130 lbs., black hair, dark eyes.
