HESPERIA, Ca. – Need a job? Mark your calendar for the High Desert Job Fair and Expungement event planned for Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

Around 35 employers looking for new employees will be on-site for the event, which will be held at Abundant Living Family Church High Desert. The venue is located at 17555 Mauna Loa St, in the City of Hesperia. Victor Valley College, Barstow Community College, San Bernardino County Public Defender representatives, and the Workforce Development Department will be at the event ready to assist you with the information on job services, education services, and even expungement information for those with criminal records.

The event will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will include employer hiring for clerical services, health care, manufacturing, retail, construction, transportation, distribution, and food service. Applicants will be screened and scheduled for interviews. Dress to impress, bring your resume and keep your pen handy to fill out applications for the jobs that interest you. For those interested in furthering their education Victor Valley College and Barstow Community College will also have booths at the event.

Is your criminal record inhibiting your ability to find employment? The public defender staff with be there to assist with rehabilitation certificated and felony/misdemeanor expungement preparation. These services will allow individuals to clear their records and secure employment.
