HESPERIA, CA. – A Hesperia woman and Riverside man were arrested after a 4-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with injuries consistent with abuse, authorities said.
On Thursday, August 5, 2021, the Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children Detail were made aware of a 4-year-old boy who was believed to be physically abused and who was severely malnourished. Authorities said that the boy was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he was admitted with injures ruled to be non-accidental trauma from child abuse. His mother, Lacey Golding, 31, was arrested on Thursday, August 5, 2021 for willful harm or injury to a child. She was booked into the Central Detention Center and was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. She posted bail the following day and was released from custody.
Brent Hartwig, 36, of Riverside, who was Golding’s boyfriend was arrested on Thursday, August 19, 2021, for willful harm or injury to a child. He was booked at the Central Detention Center and was released after posting $50,000 bail.
