HESPERIA, Ca. – A deceased male was located near the railroad at Ranchero Road and Santa Fe Avenue East in Hesperia on Wednesday.
The lifeless body of the male subject, who has not yet been identified, was located at around 6:53 a.m. Deputies and emergency medical personnel from the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the area. When they arrived it was determined the male was deceased.
Through investigation, it was revealed that the male victim was trespassing on the BNSF railroad property and was struck by the train. The investigation is ongoing. The male victim will be identified by the San Bernardino County Coroner.
