JURUPA VALLEY – A 72-year-old woman of Jurupa Valley is missing and authorities need the public’s help to locate her. Sandra Lynn Thompson suffers from dementia and was last seen in the 10000 block of Country Club Drive on Wednesday afternoon at around 4:23 p.m.
An area search was conducted using a bloodhound and a helicopter, but Thompson was not located. She is described as a White woman, 5’2”, and 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black dress with an orange shirt and a long black shirt over both and black tennis shoes. She was wearing a black wig, above shoulder length with a bright pink plastic headband.
At around 4:23 p.m. on Wednesday, she was getting into a silver van, possibly a Dodge Caravan with unknown plates. The California Highway Patrol has issued a silver alert. The photo provided was taken 16 years ago.
