RIVERSIDE – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman who got into a fight with store security as she attempted to steal from the Macy’s Department store in Riverside.
On Wednesday the woman went into the store located in the Galleria Mall at Tyler. She began to conceal merchandise in her bag and then proceeded to the door to leave without paying. The store security officer attempted to stop the woman who began to fight, causing minor injuries to the security officer. She then fled on foot out of the area and Riverside Police were unable to locate her.
She was described as a White or Hispanic woman with tattoos on both shoulders and her chest. Anyone with information is asked to please contact Officer M. Braun with the Riverside Police Department at 951-343-1860 or at MBraun@riversideca.gov.
