RIVERSIDE – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify hit and run suspects.
On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at around 9:30 p.m. the man and woman pictured were at the Walmart located in the 6200 block of Canyon Springs Parkway in the City of Riverside. When leaving, the man got into the driver’s seat and the woman got into the front passenger seat of a silver Scion XB. The male driver backed out of the parking stall and collided into a vehicle parked next to them causing damage.
The Scion pulled forward a bit, stopped, then left the scene of the collision without attempting to exchange insurance information. Riverside detectives said that the Scion appears to have black rims, tinted side windows, and possibly damage to the rear bumper. The driver was described as a Hispanic man, around 20-25-years-old, who is around 5’10” to 6” tall with a medium build. The woman was also described as Hispanic, around 20-25-years-old, around 5’2” tall, with long straight black hair and a medium build.
If you recognize these suspects and/or their vehicle, or if you have information regarding this hit and run investigation, please directly contact Detective B. Jones at (951) 826-8722 or bjones@riversideca.gov.
