RIVERSIDE – A female juvenile was grabbed, pulled into a dumpster enclosure, and sexually assaulted by an unknown suspect on Sunday afternoon.
Authorities received the report of a kidnapping and sexual assault at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Officers responded to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 5900 Grand Avenue in the City of Riverside. Through investigation, they learned that the girl was pulled into the enclosed dumpster area by the suspect.
Police did an area search for the suspect, but were unable to locate him. He was described as being a dark-skinned Hispanic male, around 50-years-old, a goatee, and short dark messy hair. When last seen, he was wearing a black T-shirt with vertical grey stripes, and possibly had a tattoo on one of his arms. The victim was later able to assist with developing a composite sketch of this suspect.
