BARSTOW, Ca. – Over 6 months after a shooting in Barstow, charges have been filed against the suspected shooter,].

On February 9, 2019, at around 1:20 a.m.,officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 2300 block of East Main Street. A detective responded to the location to investigate the shooting and learned that a male subject had been shot multiple times while standing near a vehicle parked at the location. The investigation led to Isaac Fisher, 22, of Barstoe being identified as the shooter.

Isaac Fisher was located at his home on February 21, 2019, and was placed under arrest. The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office reviewed the case, but did not file charges. Detectives from the Barstow Police Department continued the investigation. The case was submitted back to the District Attorney’s Office for review. On August 20, 2019, charges were filed against Isaac Fisher for attempted murder. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 21, 2019, detectives located Fisher in his vehicle driving on Yucca Avenue near Riverside Drive. The detectives initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted Fisher. The detectives removed him from the vehicle and placed him under arrest. The detectives then conducted a search of the vehicle and located a loaded .38 revolver on the front passenger seat. They also found twenty-three suspected Xanax pills next to the firearm.

Isaac Fisher was booked at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Barstow Jail for PC Attempted Murder and Possession of Narcotics While Armed.
