BEAUMONT, Calif. – One man is injured and a second was pronounced deceased at the scene of a traffic collision on Friday.
At around 10:22 a.m. Beaumont Police responded to the area of 5th Street and Beaumont Avenue for the report of a major traffic collision. Through investigation it was learned that the driver of the silver Subaru SUV exited the 10 freeway at a high rate of speed going through a business parking lot and striking an employee.
The employee was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries sustained in the collision
