CALIENTE, Ca. – A body was found near the Kern River on Thursday afternoon, Kern County Sheriff’s officials said.
Kern Valley Search and Rescue and Bakersfield Search and Rescue recovered the body above Sandy Flat. The body an unknown age male. The Coroner’s office picked up the body and will determine the identity and cause of death.
