GRAND TERRACE, Ca. – A 33-year-old Colton man was found deceased near Barton Road and Canal Street in Grand Terrace on Sunday.

At around 2:19 a.m. a deputy from the Grand Terrace Sheriff’s Station was on patrol when he located Jerry Aldama Jr. lying on the ground. The deputy approached the man and learned he was deceased. The deputy requested that Homicide detectives respond to the scene.

Homicide detectives conducted an extensive investigation and assessed the condition of Aldama Jr. They were able to determine that there were no obvious signs of trauma. A coroner responded to the scene and will perform and autopsy to determine his manner of death.
