COLTON – A 57-year-old Colton man was killed after being struck by a vehicle late Wednesday night.
The victim, who has yet to be identified was walking across Valley Boulevard within the intersection of Cypress Avenue. A 39-year-old Menifee man driving a green Cadillac CTS-V eastbound on Valley Boulevard approaching Cypress Avenue in the #1 lane at around 45-50 miles per hour. As the driver went through the intersection the front of his vehicle collided with the male victim. The victim who was severely injured was rushed to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries.
The cause of this collision is still under investigation, however drugs and/or alcohol are not considered to be a factor in this collision. Anyone with information regarding this collision is encouraged to contact Officer Bevan at the San Bernardino CHP Office at (909) 383-4247.
