ONTARIO – A commercial truck driver lost his life on the eastbound 60 Freeway near Mountain Avenue in the City of Chino on Saturday.
At around 1:45 a.m. the driver of a semi-tractor trailer was seen drifting off of the roadway from the #2 eastbound lane. The semi collided with guardrails and finally the Mountain Avenue bridge cement wall. The driver, whose name has not been released was ejected from the cabin.
The driver was rushed to the hospital where despite lifesaving efforts, he died as a result of the collision.
