VICTORVILLE, Ca. – Authorities are continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred in the City of Victorville last week.
On Thursday, September 5, 2019, at around 10:05 p.m. , the victim called to report that he was shot at by unknown suspects in the 12500 block of Loma Verde. When deputies arrived her told them that there was a gold-colored Honda Accord parked in front of his neighbor’s house. He saw three people get out of the Honda and felt that they may have been up to something so he drove up to their vehicle and checked it out.
“ While driving up there, he saw two of the males run through an alleyway and get back in the car, which then began to drive away,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “The victim decided to follow the Honda and was shot at by someone in the Honda.” The victim drove home to report the incident. The victim was not injured as a result of the shooting, but his vehicle was struck multiple times by the gunfire.
No arrests have been made at this time.
