VICTORVILLE – The male subject killed when crossing Mojave Drive at Ferndale Road has been identified as Salvador Ramirez Perez, 62, of Victorville.
Authorities said that on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at around 7:07 p.m. Ramirez-Perez was crossing the road outside of the marked crosswalk area and was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the black Nissan 200 that was driving eastbound at the time of the collision and stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities through the investigation.
Perez was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center where despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead at around 7:38 p.m.
