ADELANTO, Calif. – Authorities are seeking any information that can help lead them to two suspects who robbed a couple outside of the Adelanto Stater Bros.
On Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at around 9:55 p.m., deputies responded to a 911 call reporting that there was robbery in the parking lot of the market located at 14168 Hwy 395. The victims, a 68-year-old man and 59-year-old woman said that a newer dark blue Honda Civic pulled up to them as they were loading their vehicle with the groceries they had just purchased. After stopping, the two suspects, both black men around 18 to 21-years-old got out of the vehicle and demanded valuables from the victims.
One of the suspects brandished a weapon as he grabbed the victim’s cell phone. The suspects got back into their vehicle and fled west on Palmdale Road. Suspect #1 is described as 5’7” tall and 160 pounds. Suspect #2 is described as 5’11” and 200 pounds.
