The body of a male subject was found this afternoon in the Kern River, around a half of a mile downriver from Keysville.
The body was found by a member of the public. The age of the male found at around 12:20 p.m. on June 25, 2019, is unknown at this time and the Kern County Sheriff’s Coroner will determine the identity.
Two males, ages 15 and 19-years-old recently went missing after jumping into the Kern River on Sunday, June 16, 2019, at around 10:20 a.m. It is unclear if the body found was one of the male subjects reported missing.
