LANCASTER – Lancaster Sheriff’s deputies stepped up to help an elderly resident in need. It all began a few days ago when the station received a call requesting a welfare check on the elderly woman. When Deputies Regalado and Doerfler arrived they found that the elderly woman was living alone with little food. The woman also was not able to get around her home very well.
