MT. BALDY, Ca. – Detectives are seeking the public’s help with information about the suspicious death of a Chino man.
On Saturday, September 14, 2019, at 7:43 a.m., received a report indicating a possible body lying just off of the roadway in the Mt. Baldy area. Emergency personnel responded to the scene they found Frank Vargas, 40, deceased.
Vargas’ body was located down an embankment from a vehicle turnout on Mount Baldy Road, around a mile north of Ice House Canyon Road. Based on the signs of trauma on his body and physical evidence at the scene, deputies contacted homicide detectives. Detectives are seeking the public’s help.
