Victorville Home Explodes Cause Unknown

VICTORVILLE – Authorities are seeking information leading to the suspect responsible for a shooting leaving a 38-year-old man in critical condition.

On Wednesday, July 13, 2018, at around 7:56 p.m. deputies responded to the 15400 block of Sixth Street in the City of Victorville for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they located the victim lying on the ground unresponsive. The victim suffered from a gunshot wound to his face. Deputies and emergency personnel provided emergency medical care at the scene and the victim was transported to a local hospital. The victim was then airlifted to a trauma center, where he remains in critical condition.

The suspect was described as an 18 to 20-year-old Hispanic man who was around 5’10” tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark-colored pants or long shorts. He had a blue bandana and hat on his head. Witnesses said that he may have left the scene in a dark-colored compact sedan, occupied by several others.
