ADELANTO – Deputies and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to a home in the 12000 block of Chamberlaine Way for a stabbing Sunday morning.
At around 11:54 a.m. Sheriff’s dispatchers received a report that a male subject was lying on the ground bleeding from his head after being stabbed.
Victor Valley Station Sergeant Trostle told a 24/7 Headline News reporter that the incident began as a domestic disturbance incident. Although Sergeant Trostle was unable to go into depth into the victim’s injuries, he said that the injuries were not life threatening.
The male victim was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of his injuries. No other injuries were reported as a result of the incident and no arrests were immediately made. Neighbors said that the involved couple has been involved in an ongoing custody battle.
The Victor Valley Station spokeswoman Pam Hoffman said that the report will be sent over to the district attorney’s office for review.
