ADELANTO – Eight families were forced from their Adelanto apartment homes after a fire erupted on Monday evening. At around 5:00 p.m. the families were forced to evacuate from the homes at the Villa Park Apartments. Fortunately, the families were able to be placed in other apartment homes that are managed by the same company. Although the families were not left without a home, they were left without most of their belongings due to fire and water damage.
Days later, on Friday evening, Sheriff Service Specialist George Ramirez, obtained $250 gift cards for each family. The families can still use adult and children’s clothing (New or used), household items, toys and daily essential items. If anyone would like to donate, items could be dropped off at:

No one was injured as a result of the fire, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
