VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A female pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the City of Victorville on Friday.
At around 10:50 p.m. deputies from Victorville responded to the 16000 block of Village Drive near Oceanside Drive. When they arrived they found a woman lying on the south shoulder of Village, east of Oceanside. A witness began CPR on the woman, and deputies continued until the paramedics arrived. The woman was transported to the hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.
The driver and her passenger remained at the scene throughout the investigation. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the collision. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
