HIGHLAND, Calif. – A Highland Station deputy suffered minor injuries after being involved in a collision on Saturday.
At around 2:12 p.m., the deputy was responding to a call and was stopped at the stop sign located on 9th Street and Palm Avenue. While stopped, a driver was driving southbound on Palm Avenue and lost control of the vehicle, hitting the deputy’s patrol vehicle.
The deputy was transported to the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and was later released. The other driver did not suffer any injuries as a result of the collision.
