EAST LOS ANGELES – A female teacher at an East Los Angeles high school was charged with the sexual assault of a 15-year-old male student.
Los Angeles County District Attorney’s officials said that Gina Murry, a 32-year-old teacher at Esteban Torres High School was charged with six counts of unlawful sexual intercourse and four counts each of lewd acts upon a child, oral copulation of a person under 16, and sexual penetration by a foreign object. The sexual abuse allegedly took place for two months, beginning in May 2018.
Murry will be arraigned at the Foltz Criminal Justice Center on Wednesday, September 28, 2018. Murry faces a maximum of 17 years in prison if convicted as charged.
