Five Suspects Behind Bars for Rancho Cucamonga Assault and Robbery

RANCHO CUCAMONGA – Four young males and one teen were arrested following the robbery of a male victim in Rancho Cucamonga on Saturday.

The victim told authorities that the incident occurred in the 7800 block of Milliken Avenue at around 4:40 a.m. when he was approached by five male suspects. The suspects continued the assault as they grabbed the victim’s wallet and jewelry. They then fled the scene in a white compact car. The victim later called the Fontana Police Department to report that the suspects were parked near his home. Police responded in minutes and made contact with the five suspects identified as Daniel Patrick Morrissette, 18, of Fontana, Jonathan Casey, 18, of Fontana, Mylon Marquis Lavender, 19, of Rancho Cucamonga, Drew James Espino, 18, of Rancho Cucamonga, and a black male juvenile, 17, of Rancho Cucamonga.


All four adult suspects were booked into the West Valley Detention Center for robbery and are being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. Casey was also found to have an outstanding warrant. The juvenile was booked into the San Bernardino County Juvenile Detention Center.
