CHINO, Calif. –   Five teens, all ages 16 or 17-years-old were arrested for the shooting of a 17-year-old male.

On Thursday, June 20, 2019, at around 12:00 p.m. police responded to the 4300 block of Heather Circle in the City of Chino. When they arrived they found a 17-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Two suspects were detained while still at the scene. Search warrants were served in Chino and in Ontario where three additional arrests were made. The firearm was recovered from shooter’s home in the City of Ontario.

All five were booked at Juvenile Hall for attempted murder, robbery, and conspiracy.
