FONTANA, Calif. – A Fontana couple was arrested for possession of pornographic images of prepubescent children, including some in sexually sadistic situations.
Numerous Cybertips and an investigation into the accusations led to the arrest of the couple. Detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force were led a search warrant on their Fontana home. The electronic devices were confiscated and through a forensic review, 2000 images containing child pornography were found.
Robert Edward Byrom, 62, and Vicki Lynn Byrom, 61, were arrested on May 7, 2019, at around 9:58 p.m. in the area of Laurel and Ramona. Police said that as a result of the graphic nature of the child pornography in their possession, detectives obtained a bail enhancement. The suspects are being held in lieu of $500,000 bail each.
