FONTANA – A Fontana man was arrested for the possession of child pornography last week following an investigation headed by detectives from the Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce. The task force began investigating the man who was posting child pornography onto his social media page. Detectives arrived at the man’s home in the 9700 block of Juniper to speak with the suspect identified as Robert Carrera, 25.
While making contact with Carrera, multiple images depicting the sexual exploitation of children were discovered on his personal electronic device. He was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. He is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail.
