FONTANA, Calif. – We know that this may sound like a bunch of ‘bull’ but the Fontana Police Animal Service team successfully captured a loose cow.
On Monday, July 1, 2019, they received the report of a cow walking on the sidewalk on Foothill Boulevard just past Calabash. When they arrived they found the young bull, which was captured with the use of carrots. Animal Service officers learned that the cow’s name is “Little Red” was identified and returned to his owners.
They also learned that “Little Red” is only five years old.
