FONTANA, Ca. – Authorities are asking for help to locate a suspect and/or suspect vehicle that struck a pedestrian and fled the scene.
Fontana Police said that they are looking for a silver 2017-2019 Toyota Corolla “”S” model that struck the pedestrian on Friday, October 4, 2019, at around 9:24 p.m., on Lytle Creek and Duncan Canyon Roads. The pedestrian was left by the fleeing driver with extensive injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The vehicle is missing the driver’s side mirror and may have other front-end damage. The Fontana police department is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect vehicle and the driver, as well as any possible witnesses.
