FORT IRWIN, Ca. – A 38-year-old Fort Irwin man was arrested for the possession of child pornography.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Crimes Against Children Detail (CDC) and Sheriff’s Hi-Tech Division began investigating an accusation of downloading, possession, an distribution of child pornography. The investigation led authorities to the home of Steven Berg.
On Thursday, January 16, 2020, a search warrant was served at the home in the 5200 block of Bighorn Lane. Investigators made contact with Steven Berg at the home to conduct an interview leading to his arrest for child pornography. Berg was booked into the High Desert Detention Center.
