Four Arrested for Friday Moreno Valley Home Invasion and Kidnapping

MORENO VALLEY – A home invasion robbery was reported on the 13000 block of Tonikan Drive in the City of Moreno Valley, officials said. On Friday at around 8:00 a.m. Moreno Valley Police responded to the report of the robbery. Through investigation, officers learned that four armed suspects entered the home.  According to the victim, the four brandished handguns while forcing the victim to lead them to valuables in the home. Numerous items of value were stolen before the four fled the location.

The investigations were continued by the patrol officers with the assistance of the Moreno Valley Station Robbery Suppression Team. Investigations led to information regarding the suspect vehicle, a silver Dodge Charger and the identification of the four suspects.

The following day on Saturday, July 16th, at around 10:00 p.m. 25-year-old Moreno Valley resident, Justin Rivera was stopped by police while driving a silver Dodge Charger in the area of Heacock Street and Cottonwood Avenue. Both stolen property and weapons were located in the vehicle and Rivera was arrested for home invasion robbery and kidnapping.

On Sunday, July 17th at around 6:05 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle on Rio Grande and Ericson Drive. The vehicle was occupied by passenger 20-year-old, Moreno Valley resident, Tesean Holt who was also arrested for kidnapping and home invasion robbery.

A few hours later, on Sunday, July 17th, a search warrant was served on a home in the 25000 block of Rancho Tierra in the City of Moreno Valley. When officers arrived, 25-year-old, Pomona resident, Joseph Rivera attempted to flee but after a brief foot pursuit he was arrested. The final suspect. 20-year-old Moreno Valley Resident, Savanah Perez was located inside the home and was subsequently arrested. Stolen property was located inside the residence.

All four suspects were booked into the Riverside County Jail for home invasion robbery and kidnapping. They are being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
