REDLANDS – Rock the Paws Foundation of Victorville is sponsoring a Saturday, July 23, 2016, screening of the documentary, Dog by Dog. Rock the Paws Foundation raises funds to help shelter animals and provide medical attention, spay/neutering, vaccinations, food and all the other needs while helping the animals to find a forever home.
Dog by Dog has been described as a “tasteful, yet eye-opening” documentary. The screening is at 2:00 p.m. at the beautiful Krikorian Redlands Cinema 14 and presale tickets are a steal at only $15. All proceeds go to Rock the Paws Foundation and the 5414 Productions Inc. Dog By Dog Educational Campaign.
The horrific reality of puppy mills is something not many are aware of and many of those who learn about what takes place, become advocates to create laws to stop them. Dog by Dog is a documentary that was created in order to expose the harsh reality of the purebred dog industry leading many American’s get into the money-making business of breeding.
When doing so, many of these dog breeders cage the “parent” dogs for their entire lives. Making human adopters aware of the puppy mill business the creators of the documentary would like to encourage those seeking a pet to adopt a homeless pet from their local shelters.
