MORENO VALLEY – A Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) bus was involved in a collision at Frederick Street and Towngate Boulevard Thursday morning. At around 6:15 a.m. Moreno Valley Police were dispatched to the traffic collision. Upon arrival, just moments following the report, police discovered that they bus carrying eight passengers was involved in a collision with a Volkswagen.
Neither drivers sustained injuries, four bus passengers were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of minor injuries. Authorities do not believe alcohol or drugs are a factor in the collision. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
