VICTORVILLE, Ca. – An altercation at a Victorville apartment complex led to the stabbing of three young men and one juvenile male.
At around 6:05 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2020, deputies were dispatched to the Andalusia Apartments in the 13500 block of Third Avenue in the City of Victorville. The reporting party said that someone was stabbed, while a verbal disturbance could be heard in the background of the call. Deputies responded to the location, as multiple calls reporting the altercation were made to 911 dispatchers.
“When deputies arrived, they found an 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old male suffering from apparent stab wounds,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Spokeswoman, Mara Rodriguez. “Both subjects were flown to nearby trauma centers for treatment. Two additional males believed to be involved in the incident, had been taken to a residence on El Rio Road in Victorville.” The two males found at the El Rio home were also injured including a 17-year-old male who suffered stab wounds and an 18-year-old male who sustained facial injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment with non-life-threatening injuries.
“During the initial incident, another caller reported someone had been shot; however, investigators were unable to confirm that report and no gunshot victims have been located,” added Rodriguez, in the news release. “This investigation is ongoing, and the cause of the disturbance has not been determined. Detectives are working to determine if there are outstanding suspects or any additional witnesses.”
