Four Suspects At Large After Assaulting Store Owner During a Beer Run

RIVERSIDE – Riverside police are seeking the public’s help to locate four suspects who robbed the Circle 1 Mart, located in the 2300 block of University Avenue on September 8th.

At around noon that day, two suspects entered the store and attempted to run out with several cases of beer. The store owner was able to stop the theft causing them to leave the store without the beer. Suspect #1 grabbed a case of beer from the hand cart that was outside of the store and fled on foot, suspect #2 followed his lead and attempted to also grab a case. Suspect #2 was stopped by the store owner.

Two more suspects both on bikes began fighting with the owner, suspect #4 punching him several times and suspect #3 throwing two cases of beer at the owner. Both suspects left the store, with one additional case of beer.

The suspects are all described as being Hispanic men in their early 20’s. Suspect #1 is described as being 5’8 to 5’10” tall, 210-230 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. Suspect #2 is described as being 5’6” to 5’9” tall, 165-180 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a mustache. Suspect #3 is described as 5’6 to 5’9” tall, 165-180 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a mustache. Suspect #4 is described as 5’9” to 5’11” tall, 145-165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
