APPLE VALLEY – Looking for fun and things to do with the family this weekend? The Town of Apple Valley is having a Family Preparedness Fair at the Town Hall Conference Center, located at 14975 Dale Evans Parkway on Saturday.
The event that will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. will introduce you to local public safety departments and teach you how to prepare your entire family for any hazards.
There will be an earthquake seismic simulator, fire engines, police vehicles, Apple Valley Fire mobile command bus, and so much more. From water safety to fire safety, this event will teach you what you need to know to keep your family safe.
Child fingerprinting, CERT, and car seat installation will also be available. Come to learn and also enjoy free hot dogs, face painting, and giveaways.
