HESPERIA – Heaven Scent, the perfect name for a cleaning company that so many in the High Desert count on for their house cleaning needs. Heaven Scent Cleaning began serving customers in 1987. The company, owned by Jacque Shipman originally went by the name of Jacque’s Cleaning. Shipman passed the business on to her daughter, Melissa in 2003, when she was 21-years-old. For the next 12 years, until 2015, Heaven Scent Cleaning remained a one team company.
“We started the facebook business page in the summer of 2015 and business really picked up,” said owner Melissa Rock. “At the end of 2015, we expanded to 2 teams, then 2 months later the third team, and 3 months after that the 4th team.” The name was changed to Heaven Scent Cleaning in 2016. Melissa Rock said their Facebook page now has 2800 followers and 88 5-star reviews, and the business now cleans 50 homes per week. “I stopped cleaning in the summer of 2016 because running the growing business became too demanding,” said Rock. “I have ten of the most amazing, hard working, and well-trained women beautifying the desert one house at a time. I am so thankful for how hard they work and the dedication they have to the business and our clients.”
Rock said that satisfied customers are their goal and keeping them satisfied is what she believes has kept the business running strong for 30 years. She said that they will continue to keep the quality high and the prices low for the customers who she credits for the growth of her business. Heaven Scent Cleaning gives back to the community whenever possible from giving Thanksgiving Dinners to families in need, donating free cleaning to help raise money for the Apple Valley Rattlers and High Desert Southern Stars. “We don’t have the means to do much, but we do what we can.” For more information about Heaven Scent Cleaning “like” their Facebook Page.
