HESPERIA – The City of Hesperia is offering grants to help residents of owner-occupied homes make energy efficiency improvements and minor repairs. These grants are funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and are offered to eligible homeowners meeting the low to moderate income requirements.
These income guidelines are those established by HUD and are adjusted for the household size. Documentation of household size, income and property ownership will be required in order to determine eligibility. This is subject to funding availability and is only available to those who are currently living in the Hesperia property that the grant is requested for.
Applications must be complete and all required documents must be submitted in order to be considered for the grant of up to $6,000. This is a limit of one EEMR grant per eligible homeowner. You may fill out the application here http://www.cityofhesperia.us/documentcenter/view/13606
