HESPERIA– Deputies from the Hesperia station are investigating a Thursday night robbery at the Sinclair Gas Station.
The robbery was reported just before 9:00 p.m. at the gas station and mini Dino Mini Mart located on the southwest corner of Main Street and Third Avenue. The armed suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, around 5’6″ tall, thin build, wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask.
The suspect who was armed with a handgun demanded money from the clerk. Once he received the undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot Southbound on 4th Avenue. The sheriff’s helicopter (40-king) responded to the scene to search for the suspect, but were unable to locate him.
