Hesperia Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of Child and Animal

VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A 46-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for molesting a female juvenile and sexually assaulting an animal police officials said.

On January 16, 2020, deputies from the Victorville Station learned that a Hesperia man was allegedly involved in sexual acts involving children and animals. The investigation into Timothy Carl Lawrence. The following day, on January 17, 2020, the investigation led authorities to a home located at 418 Barstow Road in the City of Barstow, where they made contact with Lawrence.

An interview was done and it was learned that Lawrence was involved in recent incidents at the home, which involved a juvenile and an animal. It was also learned that an adult female was also involved in the sexual acts with the minor. The female now lives in another state remains under investigation at this time.

Lawrence was booked at the High Desert Detention Center for lewd & lascivious acts with a child under 14, sending obscene material to a minor, and sexual assault on an animal and is being held in lieu of $225,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on March 12, 2020 at 8:30 a.m.
