RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A 37-year-old Hesperia man was sentenced to 11 years in prison for molesting his former best friend’s 7-year-old daughter. The sentencing came following a May 2015 arrest of Jeremy Fabian Richmond and a January 2017 conviction, which included six counts connected with the molestation of the small girl.
“The victim’s family opened up their home to him because he was having financial difficulties and had nowhere to go. Nonetheless, he took advantage of their generosity and trust,” said Deputy DA Maryanne Choi, who prosecuted the case. Richmond was sentenced at the Rancho Cucamonga Superior Court will serve his time at the Chino Prison for Men and when released will be required to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
