HESPERIA, Calif. – Two suspects who sold a stolen trailer to an unknowing victim were arrested in Hesperia.
Edward Filley was identified of the possible suspect of a theft from a trailer, which had been rented Apex Rentals in Hesperia on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. A few days later, the stolen car hauling trailer was recovered in Lake Isabella. The person who purchased the trailer, not knowing that it was stolen, attempted to register it at the DMV where it was flagged as stolen.
The victim identified the suspects as Edward Filley, 36, of Rialto, and Jeannette Shnyder, 46, of Hesperia. The suspects were located in the City of Hesperia on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Both were arrested for theft of the trailer and falsification of government documents.
