Victorville Home Explodes Cause Unknown

VICTORVILLE – A 23-year-old Victorville man was shot dead on the night of Thursday, August 9, 2019.

Authorities said that at around 10:19 a.m. deputies from the Victorville station and emergency medical personnel responded to a call reporting a shooting near Mesa Oro Drive and Conejo Street in the City of Victorville. When they arrived they found a male victim, later identified Levi Blood lying on the street suffering from a gunshot wound. Levi Blood was pronounced dead at the scene, leading to an investigation by Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives.

Through investigation, detectives learned that Blood was outside of his vehicle speaking with a couple of unidentified men when gunshots were fired. Witnesses said following the gunshots they found the victim lying unresponsive in the street.
