SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Housing Authority of San Bernardino County has announced the reopening of the Tenant-Based Voucher Program, formerly known as Section 8. The list will be open until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019. Those who would like to apply just need to do so before the deadline since this is not first come first serve. All applicants will be placed on the list and they will be selected through a computerized random selection process.
You can apply using any electronic device that has internet access. The pre-application can be filled out at www.hascb.com, 24-hours a day until the February 25th closing. Entering a pre-application does not represent an offer for housing assistance or placement on any waiting list. Assistance is available to those with special needs and for those in need of translation by calling 877-381-3443 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Do not use the phone number if you have computer access through family, friends, or public computer access.
